Bringing in the New Year with a card I made in December 2022. I don’t have any details on the card; not even the name of the stamp or the stamp company. (Edit: the stamp is Birth-Yay by My Favorite Things)I was a certain if I could log in to my website to post anything. I feel like I’ve practically forgotten everything. It’s been a solid 3 years since I have drawn, colored, or even made a card. I’m going to officially label that absence as the Black Hole Era. However, Time has passed, wounds have heeled and it is time to get back to crafting. I have some exciting new things to share, including a few crochet creations that I finished. So leave some loves and stay tuned.

Poof – just like that, it’s Christmas! Happy Holidays everyone and to a fresh New Years just around the corner. 😀 I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I managed to finish the pink Llamazing Llama that I’ve had sitting on my desk for over a week. He’s been colored and waiting for a background card to work on. Here she is… her soft plush coat is on it’s way to a crafty knitter looking for just the right color pink. Oh yeah!

I thought this Deck the Halls mouse would be perfect in the Holiday Snowglobe Outlines die set. I colored the base with a wood grain texture and the rest of the card with pastel colors. It was a fun card to put together. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a very Merry Christmas!!

Grab some penguin love

Everyone loves these penguins and this, Penguin Flies, one was just as fun to color. This one is done with watercolors at Jennifer’s retreat. I was able to put all my watercolor images onto cards this year and have caught up from the pile that is on my desk. Phew, that feels nice and just before the New Year so I don’t have to make any uncalled for New Year’s Resolutions. LOL My favorite part on this one is the Atlas Jar (small size), of course, which can be used for just about anything!!

How many days?!

The next few days I thought I would take the time to make and share Christmas cheer with the images that I colored last year at Jennifer’s Boot Camp. For those who where there, I was the black sheep in the back coloring with my watercolors. LOL So yes, this is watercolor on Hammermill paper. I think I got pretty close to the real-deal lesson, do you? This Gingerbread Man and all the dies are from Whimsy Stamps.

New Happy Balloon Die

Are you tired of cutting out your balloons? I’m excited to share that Whimsy has released a new coordinating balloon die set to match. Awesome!! Now you can find Happy Day Balloons clear set and Happy Day Balloons die set together.

This card was made at the 2022 Sproatmeyer’s Coloring Toolbox Retreat as a variation. I had many balloons colored as practice so I built a few more cards with them. Waste not, want not, right? I have two more scheduled for 2023 and would love to “fill them up” – but don’t worry, with less than 20 members, it’s still cozy and personalized. Come join!
