Hare Bear Friends from Whimsy Stamps

Here’s the results of our coloring session this even – it’s a little bit different, but kinda the same. This is Hare Bear Friends from Whimsy Stamps. Depending on the size of the animals and placement on the paper, each person’s den will look different. On my project here, compared to my original one, the den is much larger because I printed the characters larger. I also added snow because we had extra time and I wanted to see how that would look. Polka Dot Pals Gemma from Whimsy Stamps

Here’s the result of the first coloring session class that I held today. We knew it was going to be Polka Dot Pals Gemma and that I’d be coloring in eye details but how about that background?! I like to think of it as the end of the world but we can still make it. Check out Gemma’s bravado as she strolls home with her groceries and ready for another day. LOL

Spencer’s Ship from Little Miss Muffet Stamps

I created an ocean scene the other day that got some attention so I thought I would make it into a coloring session – Spencer’s Ship – Seaside Background. I’ll be using Spencer’s Ship, a retired stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and we’ll be coloring the bear and the background together. I’ve stamped this one in a no-lines color but in the class I’ll be using black so it shows up on camera easier. You could use either, of course.

Polka Dot Pals Mieme DCS from Whimsy Stamps

Here’s a digital coloring scene that I haven’t had a chance to color yet and it’s one of my favorites. This is Polka Dot Pals Mieme Book Stand from Whimsy Stamps. The scene is complete with the clouds, stand, books, girls, face and even the apple. I have a couple scenes printed out so when I’m looking for a coloring book experience then I have them handy. It takes the guess work out of creating the scene.

I colored this one at the retreat so I only had a few colors that I took with me. I did borrow E41, E42 and E000 for the skin tone because mine were getting rather dry and sticky. I loved how it turned out.

Linking Train from Whimsy Stamps

I created this scene a while ago but made two of them just in case I messed up. Turns out that even if I did, I completed the project anyway and forgot about them. So I had an extra laying around and picked it up to color. This is Linking Train and is an image I drew for Whimsy Stamps. I love this set! It’s perfect for all occasions and I especially like ot use it for birthday cards.

I kept the coloring simple on this Linking Train partly because I was distracted with technical and zoom details, but also because I wanted to get it colored quickly. A few pals chatted with me through zoom and helped me get the lighting and details set up for online zoom classes. It was a lot of fun and they were super helpful – thank you ladies and gents!
