Are you over the hill yet?

I’m not sure where I was going with this card but knew I wanted to use lots of gray and white. Somehow the glitter ended up on there and now it’s everywhere around my desk too – so in way because of that, this card matches my mood. Next time I would do a few things different but this will still work for a birthday card. I enjoyed this combination of stamps and I think these balloons are the perfect size – small enough to add many on a card and large enough to catch your attention! Plus, all the tiles clear stamps fit inside – bonus!!

Shake and rock

It’s your happy day and you rock! I used the two new tiles sets released yesterday to create this fun shaker birthday themed card. The sentiments fit perfectly inside the balloons as do all the tiles sets too. This one even uses the smiley face included in the Sentiment Tiles Heartfelt Thoughts clear set which floats above the rest.

You party animal, you

Are you familiar with all the Animal Tiles, Ocean Tiles and Dessert Tiles from Whimsy Stamps? Well, you’re never going to believe this… well, you probably already do but I’ll tell you anyway. Today was the release of two new clear sets to add to that collection, Happy Day Balloons and Sentiment Tiles Heartfelt Thoughts. But the best part is that they all coordinate with each other and all the tiles can fit within the three balloon shapes. I’ll tell you this is most exciting for me and I’ve enjoyed creating and coloring the cards for the next few days. Check out my first card!

Need a hand?

Hay neighbor, do you need a hand over there? I have a barrel full of tools and I’m on my way. This card uses the Fill a Stuff Jam Packed clear set and I combined it with the Fill a Wheel Barrel set to create the center focus. The rest of the card was created with a masculine focus and I stayed away from flowers, ribbons, glitter and other feminine stuff. However, sometimes I feel that means I can’t use ovals and light colors too – do you feel the same way? It’s hard sometimes to define what a masculine card should look like but I think this one kinda fits in that category.

Seas the day

When I drew the Ocean Tiles Seas the Day clear set, I knew I wanted to play around with that little tug boat. After all, it’s the one that saves the day for all the other boats, right?! So I create this card using just that little tike and had it pulling the sentiment through the water. Seas the day, it says! I enjoyed using the Curly Q’s Background to create moving water and the Extreme Postage die to give this a traveling exotic feel. This is one of my favorite cards this week.

Hello my friend

I’m back again with the new releases sharing one more card with the Sushi Time clear set. I had colored all the sushi friends twice and then spread them out between the cards. I thought for sure I was only going to get two cards out of it but it turns out I did three. Awesome! I love this simple design and the green scalloped border around the outside reminds me of a sushi take out box. What do you think?
