I used some time to clean up the house before I left for vacation and while cleaning my desk, this card came to be. All the supplies just seemed to already be on my desk. LOL. I’ve used Hanging Clothes Working, Clothes Line metal die, Birds on a Wire metal die, all from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. Come on over and show us a card in the LMM Challenges and I hope you’re all having a great summer!

Bandit Boy Tom
This is Bandit Boy Tom from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and was created for the Little Miss Muffet Challenge #141. I went with a quick card and used some Make it Crafty chipboard too – those are the stars and I colored them black with the Copic marker. The paper is from My Favorite Things and is from the wonderful Subtle Plaids paper pack. Head on over to the LMM Challenges and show us one of your creations.
Clover Dancing with Dragonflies
Summer is always busy for me around here as I find fun activities to do with the kids. Plus there is also the extra time that we have to go camping or on road trips. Yeah! However, even with all that going on, I’m thrilled that I was able to create something today.
This is Clover Dancing with Dragonflies from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I also used a Bright Side of Life chipboard sentiment from Make it Crafty. I always start thinking of the Life of Brian when I read this and no doubt, start singing it too. LOL
Skelekinz No Sunshine
This is Skelekinz No Sunshine rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. Even though she is colored with vibrant colors, I wanted to make a gloomy card so I selected drab colors for the card base. If you look, my daughter helped me color it too … that’s the extra white gel pen on the umbrella. LOL
Polka Dot Pals Trillian
I’ve still got my towel and colored another image. Whereas I feel like the last one was more of a warm-up, I really liked how this one turned out. The background is actually part of the color to a colander I had last year. I liked the starry night feel and just couldn’t manage to toss it. Now I’m glad I didn’t.
This is Polka Dot Pals Trillian from the Towel Day release and colored it with Polychromos pencils. I like how her face turned out and using the pencils was a lot easier than using the markers. That allowed me to build up the area and take it slow. I also used the Thanks for All the Fist Sentiment and printed that out on Kraft paper.
Polka Dot Pals Douglas
Douglas Adams is one of my all time favorite authors so when I heard about Towel Day, I knew I wanted to do something. Out of all the ideas that came to mind, I settled on drawing up two characters totting their towels around . . . Douglas and Trillian. So today, in celebration of Towel Day, I’ve created this card using two of the new images.
Read the Wikipedia article about Towel Day and check this Towel Day website for other events and fun stuff to do to day. Little Miss Muffet Stamps is listed on there too. 🙂
