Miss Muffet Note Book

I had to keep one of the new note books for myself and even got some note books for my kiddos.  Here’s a label idea that I typed up and clipped onto the front.  It can also be clipped to the inside.  Then that clip can also be used to hold notes once the book is in use.

This is great for notes, ideas, memories or stories – grab one for yourself or as a gift at LMMS.

I’d like to share this in the following challenges:

Bob the Yeti

This is Bob the Yeti from Yumi & Fumi Handmade stamps and I colored him after seeing Emma’s awesome rainbow monster.  I loved how she colored her minister and it inspired me so much that I actually colored.  Oh, yes, I did!  I don’t think mine is as well done as hers but I still like how it turned out.

I colored him with Prismacolor Pencils on Kraft paper can cased Emma’s card design.  That design made it easy for me to focus on the coloring and not worry so much about the card.  Thank you Emma for the inspiration!

Honey Run

I reached for a rubber stamp to create a guy card this week for the new challenge at LMMS.  It’s anything goes and you can use any stamp – so pop on over and share one of your projects today.

The stamp I used is Honey Run which is a DoveArt Designs stamp by Jennifer Dove.

My desk is a mess right now, no surprise, so I mainly grabbed what was on the surface.  This included the back part of a map which listed city names and pages.  I would have used the front but it was too colorful for the papers I selected, however, this side works great.

Platypus and Turtle

I was working on a few felt friends this weekend and wanted to share them.  The platypus is a pattern from the book is “Pipsqueaks, Itsy-Bitsy Felt Creations to Stitch & Love” by Sally Dixon.  Then from that, I altered the idea and made up the turtle.  These little critters are only about 2.5 inches.

Evelyn Inchworm

This is Evelyn Inchworm which is a critter from Wee Wonderfuls pattern book.  I didn’t use the pattern from the book but winged it.  The glasses are Barbie Doll accessories and are a bit too big but I tied them in the back and tried to make it work out.  They stick out a bit more than I want but I think it’s OK.

Swings ‘n Slides Froggy

I hardly get a chance to color anymore so I enjoy what time I have when I can.  This little girl is Swings ‘n Slides Froggy from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The paper is from My Favorite Things and I did a little swing around the edges.  Then I used the last of my wood stars to embellish and make a quick simple card.  Hope you are having a TOAD-ally awesome weekend!
