Do you remember Bubbles Fun Owen from the retreat? I wanted to revisit that image and try to work out that bubble some more for a more realistic look. I think I’ve gotten 70% there so there is still more for me to figure out. However, I like how different this one turned out and I also like the face I added through creative color placement. Such a fun challenge!
I created an ocean scene the other day that got some attention so I thought I would make it into a coloring session – Spencer’s Ship – Seaside Background. I’ll be using Spencer’s Ship, a retired stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and we’ll be coloring the bear and the background together. I’ve stamped this one in a no-lines color but in the class I’ll be using black so it shows up on camera easier. You could use either, of course.
Sign up for the coloring session and you’ll receive the rubber stamp as part of the kit! Click HERE to sign up and come color with me!
Here’s a digital coloring scene that I haven’t had a chance to color yet and it’s one of my favorites. This is Polka Dot Pals Mieme Book Stand from Whimsy Stamps. The scene is complete with the clouds, stand, books, girls, face and even the apple. I have a couple scenes printed out so when I’m looking for a coloring book experience then I have them handy. It takes the guess work out of creating the scene.
I colored this one at the retreat so I only had a few colors that I took with me. I did borrow E41, E42 and E000 for the skin tone because mine were getting rather dry and sticky. I loved how it turned out.
