This is my second crochet project from the book Edward’s Crochet Imaginarium by Kerry Lord. We call him Peppermint. This was much easier than the first plus I didn’t have to fret over choosing the elements. Sometimes narrowing down the which arms or lets is the hardest part. Now on to the next one. LOL
Month: August 2017
Beach Scene
Here’s my latest project featuring Beach Scene rubber stamp by DoveArt Studios. The sentiments was created using the Cutters Mini Alphabet & Numbers Die. Then I added miscellaneous things that were either red or beach themed and hoped that it all worked together.
Strawberry Sunbonnet Wagon
I’ve added to my envelop project with another image on an inside flap. This one is Strawberry Sunbonnet Wagon rubber stamp from LMMS. I’ve stamped it twice to get the double wagon. You can see the colors I used below. This project was started so long ago that I’ve already expended the first deadline but have set another for mid September and hope to make that one. LOL
For this panel, I also added some Make it Craft chipboard embellishments, but also lacy ribbon, gems, doily and cheesecloth, as you can plainly see all that. 😀
There’s a new Anything Goes Challenge that opened up today – you can pop over and add your favorite creation from this week.
Polka Dot Pals Kyree
Welcome to a new Anything Goes challenge at Little Miss Muffet Challenges. For this week, I created a summer card using Polka Dot Pals Kyree. However, she’s not available in the store but you don’t want to miss out on these details to get her… she’s free!
The face was added with a Polka Dot Pals Add-on Face or you can color your own or leave it blank. Then, since you’ll love coloring her, you’ll want to grab some more Polka Dot Pals in the LMMS store. Of course!
Edward the First
This is my first crochet project which was from the book Edward’s Crochet Imaginarium by Kerry Lord. It’s such a fun book with flip pages to help choose the heads, arms and legs. The instructions were easy enough to figure out after a lesson from my sister first. I’m not sure crochet is my thing yet but I’m willing to give it another try.
Trees Silhouette
I’m getting ready for some snowing thoughts so I used the new Trees Silhouette from DoveArt Studios that was recently released and created my own snowy scene. The stamp was colored with the blues then I went back over the image with a white gel pen. Lastly, there was some sparkle spray that I tried out but it created blobs so I try to ignore those.
The smile sentiment is a Make it Crafty Chipboard Embelishment.
