Fergus with Bouquet

I’ve been working on putting all my colored images onto cards and I’m finally getting down to the bottom of my stack.  Again.  I have a tenancy to build up a stockpile and then repeat the process.

This card uses Fergus with Bouquet from Wild Rose Studio.  I colored it with the Marvy Le Plume markers then went with a bright and cherry color palette with the papers.  The raffle tickets are actually real ones that I had to save to see if my number was chosen.  It wasn’t.  But at least I can use them for a card and still get some benefit out of them.  He he he

Under the Weather Chester

There is a new challenge starting at LMMS this week and it’s an Anything Goes challenge.  Whohoo!  I had a different project created but then decided to use one of the new releases from this week instead.  But don’t worry, you’ll see the other project soon enough.  He he he

This project uses Under the Weather Chester and is a new rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  It comes with two sentiments which are the right size to be used in the large cloud.  However, I chose not to use a sentiment this time.

I used colors I wouldn’t normally use as I was going to go for a sad feel.  Sometimes you just need one of those cards on hand to use.  I’m certain you can use this stamp and give it a smile too.  😀

Jumbo Birthday Snails

Here’s the full project of my latest Jumbo Birthday Snails from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored just the top half of the stamp and cut it out to focus on the top two buddies.  This idea was from Jennifer as she said it was large enough that surely we could use a portion for a standard size card – and she was right!

I used some Creative Color Placement on this stamp and had some fun.  It wouldn’t have been as easy on the smaller stamp so this size afforded some creativity.  From the top, I tried to make the snail look like he was wearing glasses.  Then this snail can either be colored with a nose or without . . . last time I did without so this time I colored a nose.  🙂  Then the second snail was given a nose, as well, and also a cheesy grin by adding teeth to the smile area.  It think he’s so cute!  Lastly, the third snail, which you can only see a portion, was colored black to look like a rock.

I then put the rest of the card together using stuff from on my desk, in hopes to clean my desk up a bit.  I’m not so sure it worked, but I do like how the card turned out.  He he he.  Hope you like it too and thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Here’s the Story

I can’t believe this is my first My Favorite Things stamp, but it is.  This one is called Here’s the Story and was colored with my first few Polychromos Pencils.  I had purchased about a dozen and took them with me on my vacation last Thanksgiving.  I’m always inspired by Jane‘s coloring and tried to use her technique on the book by cross hatching while coloring.  I hope to continue to learn from her.  Thanks Jane!

On my projects, I’ve been using a lot of the Twinkle Goosebumps Gems from Queen & Co.  I love the way they look and the extra texture.  Those and the Make it Crafty chipboard are becoming a staple in my projects.  LOL.

Fearless Fairy Tales Beauty and the Beast

This is Fearless Fairy Tales Beauty and the Beast from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and I was able mix the colors a little more than usual. This has been a long time favorite stamp of mine so I enjoyed coloring the whole thing.  The paper, however, wasn’t the best to use as it was too smooth, but I got along OK.

What are you working on?  I’d love to see you post about it in the LMMS FB group or in the current challenge – it’s an easy one.  😀  It’s always inspiring to see everyone’s work.
