I wanted to share another project I made with Splash. With all the lines in the waves, I wanted to see what it would look like to color each one with a darker gradient of blue. I messed up a few areas but was able to cover it with the sailboat. I then stamped a few of the accessory stamps and the sentiment to complete this little note card.
I’ve used the Pick Me Up Truck again this week and merged it with the Texas filler instead of the Watermelons. Then I paired it up with the Dream sentiment which is a Make it Crafty chipboard embellishment. This will make a great card in my stash and will probably be used up quickly. 😀
This is Beaver which is a DoveArt for Whimsy rubber stamp. In the background I used the Farmhouse Shiplap Background from a previous project that I deconstructed and recycled. I normally don’t do that but I couldn’t resit pairing it up with the Beaver. The leaves are Make it Crafty chipboard embellishments and colored them green and helped enhance the outdoor woodsy theme.
Here’s my second project for the release this month show casing the Ice Cream Penguin. I’ve had some rainbow paper hanging around my desk that I has been begging to be used. I tried it on a previous project but it didn’t work out so well. But I tried it again and it became the basis of my color choices. Anyone want some rainbow sherbet?
I saw these Zebras and knew I wanted to go for a rainbow theme. This stamp is a DoveArt for Whimsy rubber stamp and even though you might think of zebras being black and white, this stamp is actually very versatile. You can color them any which-way!
This week’s project is using one of the houses in the Backyard Houses set from Little Miss Muffet Stamps but this time with a BBQ theme. Backyard Houses BBQ and Backyard Houses Garden! You can choose the objects for the background so they can really be mixed and matched to create your own backyard scene.
Link up one of your favorite creations this week at the Little Miss Muffet Challenges – any project from any company and you’ll have a chance to win a store voucher or being a Customer Appreciation guest this autumn. Plus it’s fun to see all the inspiration!
For my project today I was inspired by Nicolette’s bunny project and wanted to use the same layout. I found some of my pastel papers and then colored Peggy from Whimsy Stamps to use as the center focus. I added a couple die cut clouds and pasted it all together.
