Claudia’s Tutu

I’ve reached back into my scraps of papers and pulled out a few odds and ends to make this card. I have a couple paper pads that have only a few papers left so I try to use them up.  For this project, I’ve used Claudia’s Tutu from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I went with a green outfit instead of pink or purple to help with the shabby chic feels on the card.  I then distressed the edges of the paper, sewed them and added some lacy elements and sparkling gems.

Here are the Copic markers I used on Claudia’s Tutu:
BG70, 72, G40, 21, YG63
C0, 1, 3, 5
R05, 11
E43, 42, 41, 49, BV23

Clover New Beginnings

You’ve opened the 2nd “door” of this Advent calendar. I hope to have something every day.  😀  This is Clover New Beginnings from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I had colored this one once before but did it all in pink so this time I thought I’d go for blues. Then I added a little red for a pop of bold color.

The Copic markers I used on Clover New Beginnings are:
B99, 97, 95, 21, 000
R59, 37, 14, 21
Y000, 11, 18
E31, 30, 0000
C1, 2, 3, E71, 77, 79
BV20, 23, B0000
BG11, 10, 32

Easy Mini Albums

A new linking challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps today – hop on over and link up one of your projects from today in the Anything Goes Challenge!

My project uses the Easy Mini Albums booklet to create this envelope gift. This is the outside which features a pocket on the side for a personal note. The image I used is From Me To You by Whimsy.

When it opens from the back, this is what it looks like… and another envelope to follow.  On the bottom panel I used the Party Banner metal die from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and the words are chipboard embellishments from Make it Crafty that have been painted black then covered with Sparkles glitter gel.

Looking at the center part of this panel, the nested envelope part, I’ve used Polka Dot Pals Tanzen rubber stamp with the Polka Dot Pals Add-on Faces. The cupcake are Cupcakes ‘n Books from Little Miss Muffet Stamps as well.

This last envelop reveals the inside.  In the center, I also used the Party Banner metal die plus the Needle and Thread from DoveArt Studios.  The sentiment is more chipboard embellishments from Make it Crafty.

When I cut around the needle, I cut off the thread part instead of fussy cutting around it.  Then I actually threaded the needle with Baker’s twine and glued it artistically to the background.  I thought that added a fun element.  I suppose I should have added a shadows with the marker as well so I’ll go back and do that before I give it away. 😀

On the bottom panel, I also used the Cupcakes ‘n Books stamp to replace one of the strawberries in the wagon. The girl is Sunbonnet Strawberry Wagon and I had stamped two wagons to create a train instead of one.  Now this project is nearly complete – I just need to write a letter to tuck into the front then I’m done.  Yay!

For my project, I’m using Polka Dot Pals Toby with one of the alien Add-on Faces. I also used the Little Houses in the background. These houses come in both digital and clear stamp form. But during this event, if you order the Add-on Faces then you get the clear Little Houses FREE!

The sentiment was created using Make it Crafty Chipboard and then colored with a black Copic marker.  The blue gems were added to symbolize stars because I thought the background looked light night time in blues and no details. Then I wrapped the bottom of the card with twine to give the houses a solid ground feel.  Lastly, I added a little red to highlight the cape.

These are the Copic markers that I used to color Polka Dot Pals Toby:

B0000, 000, 00, 01, BG02, R00, 11
BV20, 23, 25
C1, 3, 5, 7, N5, W9

R12, 05, 24, 27, 46, 37, 39
YG01, 21, 23, 07, 17, G19, 29

Clover Dancing with Dragonflies

Summer is always busy for me around here as I find fun activities to do with the kids.  Plus there is also the extra time that we have to go camping or on road trips.  Yeah!  However, even with all that going on, I’m thrilled that I was able to create something today.

This is Clover Dancing with Dragonflies from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I also used a Bright Side of Life chipboard sentiment from Make it Crafty.  I always start thinking of the Life of Brian when I read this and no doubt, start singing it too.  LOL

I’d like to show this into the following challenges . . .
